Reniform nematode

Rotylenchulus reniformis

Reniform nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis) is a nematode pest. It was first detected in Florida in 1979.

Reniform nematodes are found partially inside roots in which the females penetrate the root corte and establish a permanent-feeding site. They are parasites of cotton in Georgia and of tomato in Florida.

For more information about this plant pest, see the CABI data sheet.
