Golden twin spot moth (Chrysodeixis chalcites) is an insect pest of crops and weeds. It is a native of Europe and Africa and was first detected in Guam in 1997.
Easily recognized with its two silver spots and golden color, this insect is a pest of major agricultural crop hosts including tobacco, tomato, cotton, Cruciferae, legumes, corn, soybeans, potatoes, artichokes, greenhouse crops, and cauliflower.
