Northern root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne hapla) is a nematode pest. It was first detected in Wisconsin in 1985.
This is a pathogen of vegetables which produces tiny galls around the nematode feeding sites. In addition, root-knot nematodes interact with other plant pathogens, resulting in increased damage caused by other diseases.
For more information about this plant pest, see the CABI data sheet.
