Potato rot nematode (Ditylenchus destructor) is a nematode pest. It was first detected in California in 1993.
The nematode attacks subterranean parts of plants, such as tubers, stolons, bulbs, rhizomes, and roots. The known host range comprises more than 100 species of plants from a wide variety of families. An economically important crop is the potato.
