Hibiscus (Pink) mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus) is an insect pest of plants, trees and shrubs. It is a native of India and was first detected in Hawaii in 1983.

An infestation was eradicated from Florida. Encyrtid wasps are a natural predator used in biocontrol.
