Brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys) is an insect pest. It is a native of Eastern Asia and was first detected in Pennsylvania in 2001.
The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug feeds on a wide variety of shade and fruit trees, vegetables and legumes. Adults can become a nuisance during the fall when large numbers of them congregate on and invade buildings in search of overwintering sites.
