Lily leaf beetle (Lilioceris lilii) is an insect pest of true lilies and Frillaria. It is a native of Europe and was first detected in Massachusetts in 1992.
Though this pest lays eggs and completes it's life cycle only on lilies, it feeds on a wide range of hosts, including potato, Slolanum spp., Nicotiona spp., Hollyhocks and Polygonatum spp. (Soloman's seal).
