Chinese mystery snail (Cipangopaludina chinensis) is a mollusk pest. It is a native of Southeast Asia and was first detected in Great Lakes Region in 1931.

This snail could be a vector for the transmission of parasites and diseases. Negative interactions with native gastropods are also possible. .
