Blueberry scorch (BLScV)

Carlavirus Blueberry Scorch Virus

Blueberry scorch (BLScV) (Carlavirus Blueberry Scorch Virus) is a viral pathogen of blueberry plants, various cultivars. It was first detected in Washington in 1980.

Fruit production and shoot growth are seriously reduced on scorch-infected plants. Scorch is transmitted from plant to plant by aphids or infected stock.
