Stubby-root nematode (Paratrichodorus teres) is a nematode pest of Sugar beet, potato, bulbs and onion. It is a native of Europe and was first detected in Oregon.

This nematode has been found in grasslands and is polyphagus. The nematode Paratrichodorus teres may transmit the Tobacco rattle tobravirus to ornamental bulb crops.
