Toxoptera citricidus

Brown citrus aphid (Toxoptera citricidus) is an insect pest of citrus plants. It is a native of southeast Asia and was first detected in Florida in 1995.

Inflicting damage to citrus on its own, this pest causes greater damage by the transmission of citrus tristeza closterovirus (CTV).
