Parrotfeather (Myriophyllum aquaticum) is an invasive plant. It is a native of Amazon River and was first detected in southern United States and coasts.

Parrotfeather may provide cover for some aquatic organisms, but it can seriously change the physical and chemical characteristics of lakes and streams.
