Hygromiid snail

Xerotricha conspurcata

Hygromiid snail (Xerotricha conspurcata) is a mollusk pest. It was first detected in California in 1996.

Though these snails are considered to be predominantly detritivorous, high populations are considered to be problematical in vineyards and orchards.

For more information about this plant pest, see the CABI data sheet.
