Colony collapse

Unidentified Agent

Colony collapse (Unidentified Agent) is a syndrome.

There have been large-scale declines of managed honey bee colonies and wild pollinators in the United States. In the absence of a single factor cause, this was named Colony Collapse Disorder based on a rapid loss of adult worker bees from managed hives. Pollinator decline poses a significant risk to U.S. plant health.
